Luciana was raised in Rome by her parents. Luciana's father was Manlio Paoluzzi who was an Italian Army officer, and her mom was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was at one time Benito Mussolini's lover's wives. There is no information on whether there are any siblings. Luciana attended a local school before matriculating to the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of the only women in her class. Within two years she launched her career as a model however that changed shortly afterwards when she was offered her first role in acting by chance while she was visitng her father's friend in Rome she played a brief two-line character in Three Coins in the Fountain which was the place when it all began. Brett Halsey was the first person she was married. He's an actor. Following the wedding, in 1960 they recorded a film named Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana had custody of Charles, born 13 June 1961. The couple divorced one year later. Luciana was in a relationship with Tony Athony from 1962 between 1962 and 1970. Tony is a producer and actor who was influenced to write and produce the Spaghetti Western hybrid based on her role in the film as Green Slime.
