Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is a American model, songwriter, singer and actress. Her most well-known role is Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the singer in the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's music is featured in films and television shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen's younger sibling Sloane Momsen also works as an actress. It is the Center of Creative Arts is the place where she learned to dance. At the age of three she started her acting career professionally as a part of a nationally telecast Shake 'n Bake commercial. Momsen was on hiatus in her career for more than three years, before being chosen to play the lead role in Misconceptions, a WB TV series. At the same time, Momsen made an appearance in the 2006 film Saving Shiloh. Momsen also tried out for the title role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three. However, the role was instead awarded to Miley Cyrus.
