Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress well known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. The actress began her career as a stage artist during the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then, she appeared on Broadway in a variety of productions until 1957 in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. She also released her first music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise made her foray into Hollywood playing Griselda Walden, a character from God's Small Acre a drama film released 1958.The movie received wide acclaim as well as Louise was awarded her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The actress joined CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood as well as Broadway as a somber character that reflected her reputation as a the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has earned a reputation for herself as a director of well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 29th August in 1965. The family relocated to Toronto around the age of three. She spent her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and has lived there from then on.
