David Muir is an American journalist and anchor who is best known for his ABC newscast World News Tonight with David Muir in addition to his role in the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he's an anchor co-anchor. The most popular news program across America has his thrilling series, which features celebrity gossips animations, animated gestures and video clips. Made In America, his Emmy award-winning show, is one of his other contributions. Before he took over ABC World News Tonight he was the anchor of choice for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. The primetime newscasts to ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint The Refugee Crisis in America. He's traveled the world to cover news that concern Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He has been awarded multiple Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Award as well as recognition from the Associated Press.
